Hiding away between the English Channel and the beautiful Creative Quarter is the once bustling Folkestone Harbour Railway Station.

The last train may have left the station on 14 March 2009, but the station, and its grand history, live on.

In 2015, the Folkestone Harbour Company commenced a £3.5 million project to refurbish the viaduct and the station, retaining the remaining tracks. The viaduct across the harbour was opened as a pedestrian route in 2017.

The station and harbour front have been redeveloped into a vibrant community with a creative marketplace and many food stalls.
